Już 19 października nakładem Nuclear Blast ukaże się jedenasty studyjny album Soulfly zatytułowany „Ritual”. Zespół przedstawił także pierwszy singiel oraz listę utworów.
Producentem następcy wydanego w 2015 roku „Archangel” został Josh Wilbur, znany ze współpracy z Lamb of God, Gojirą i Killer Be Killed. Na płycie gościnnie wystąpili Randy Blythe (Lamb of God) oraz Ross Dolan (Immolation).
