Jak może pamiętacie, jakiś czas temu prosiliśmy was o pomoc, gdy zaczynaliśmy pracę nad reedycjami „Kill’Em All” i „Ride the Lightning”. Jesteśmy podekscytowani ogłaszając, że wydania, przy których nam pomagaliście ukażą się w piątek, 15 kwietnia, w sam raz na Record Store Day!
Oba albumy zostały zremasterowane dla uzyskania jak najbardziej zaawansowanej jakości dźwięku i będą dostępne w trzech formatach – CD, winyl i deluxe box set. Boxy deluxe zawierają oryginalny materiał źródłowy z osobistej kolekcji zespołu z wieloma wcześniej niepublikowanymi i niewidzianymi nagraniami, a także książki z rzadkimi zdjęciami i esejami tych, którzy tam byli.
Numerowany box „Kill’Em All” zawiera cztery winyle, pięć płyt CD, jedno DVD, książkę w twardej oprawie z rzadkimi zdjęciami i naszywkę, podczas gdy numerowany box „Ride the Lightning” składa sie z czterech winyli, sześciu płyt CD, jednego DVD, książki w twardej oprawie z jeszcze większą ilością niepublikowanych zdjęć, mini książeczkę z tekstami napisanymi ręcznie przez Jamesa Hetfielda i zestaw trzech plakatów. Boxy deluxe są limitowane, więc zamów swój, dopóki są dostępne!
