Dziennikarze greckiego wydania Metal Hammer, z pomocą swoich czytelników, sporządzili listę „100 najlepszych albumów metalowych wszech czasów”. Na pierwszym miejscu sklasyfikownay został Master Of Puppets !

Głównym zamysłem tej listy było uszeregowanie najważniejszych płyt w historii metalu. Ostatecznie jednak zestawienie można traktować jako ranking po prostu płyt rockowyh, ze względu na pojawienie sie w nim Guns N’ Roses czy Nirvany. Najwięcej albumów, które trafiły na listę, bo aż 7 wyszło spod ręki Iron Maiden.
