Po trzech latach przerwy duet Inquisition powraca z nowym albumem. Krążek o bardzo długim i skomplikowanym tytule „Bloodshed Across The Empyrean Altar Beyond The Celestial Zenith” ukaże się 26 sierpnia dzięki wytwórni Season of Mist. A tymczasem już teraz można posłuchać pochodzącego z tejże płyty utworu „Wings of Anu”. Na światło dzienne wyszła również okładka nowego wydawnictwa oraz jego pełna tracklista. W skład tego blackmetalowego duetu wchodzą niezmiennie od 1996 roku wokalista a zarazem gitarzysta i basista tego projektu Jason Weirbach (Dagon) oraz perkusista Thomas Stevens (Incubus).
